At the 50th annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), Fairfax, Va, held last month in Boston, three different studies on breast cancer presented alternate radiation therapy techniques that can decrease treatment time and reduce the impact of side effects on quality of life.
